Why I am Deleting Facebook

Friends and followers,

Thank you to everyone who has "liked" my Facebook page over the years! As much as I do appreciate Facebook for promotions and getting the word out.. I cannot keep it any longer.

Truth time:  I have been feeling drained after viewing Facebook over the past year. Emotionally, physically, and spiritually drained. I am loosing respect for people because of their posts.  I am tired of the negativity.

I have had my Facebook app deleted for over a year and that has not stopped me from being able to view it on my phone like I thought. I (sadly) lack the self control not to look at it when I am bored and I get caught into the drama of it all. This seems to be my only solution.

I am not saying I wont join again in the future if I really do miss it. I will miss seeing the pictures of your kids and travels, seeing what people I went to school with are doing, and being updated about events.  In the time being... Please contact me on email, this blog (which I plan do more of), or Instagram @justinechristal.

I am also looking forward to having more "real" interactions with you all!

I'm going to have more "real" experiences in general, whether i'm gazing off the Andes in Peru or having coffee with a friend. Facebook cheapens life. I'm ready for richer experiences.

Please don't feel I am judging anyone who respectfully disagrees- I am just doing what is best for me. Thank you all for your understanding!

  2. I agree! I can't delete mine because I manage business pages and I don't know how to manage them without having a FB account? Not sure if you know the answer or if all your pages are going offline.
